Leia Bell’s Signed & Numbered

Video Courtesy of Park City Television

If you haven’t been to Salt Lake City printmaker Leia Bell’s shop, Signed & Numbered, I would highly recommend planning a visit. The shop sells limited edition prints along with magnets, t-shirts, and a whole host of other hand printed goods. Also worth mentioning is that the shop is directly below record store, i.e. moneytrap, Slowtrain for quick and efficient shopping. Give these people your money.

Lately I have been trying to hone my drawing skills. In doing so, I have been seeking inspiration and have found more than a few noteworthy sources. Check out illustrator Kyle T. Webster’s page, along with his Daily Figure sketchblog. Also, worth viewing is Urban Sketches, a collaboration of various artists’ sketchbooks featuring people and places. Lastly, painter and printmaker Dan Grzeca (pronounced “Jet-sah”) has some marvelous work. I especially love the show prints.

Some other miscellaneous observations:
Astonishing + Inspired + Terrifying = Man On Wire. See this movie.
Currently in rotation on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, Blitzen Trapper’s Furr, Calexico’s Carried To Dust, and David Vandervelde’s The Moonstation House Band. Life’s too short to listen to shitty music.
